Devon Fencing Contractors

The StayPut Fencing team comprises of John Harrison and Karen Moore. John is a Devon man born and bred (strong in the arm, but NOT thick in the head) educated at Holsworthy Primary and Secondary schools, followed by a stint at Duchy college.
He has worked tirelessly all his working life, from milking his fathers cow's before and after school, and then taking on relief milking to boot, John also found time to play for Bude RFC and be a member of Clawton Young Farmers club.

John is also a keen mechanic and a skilled metal and woodworker - so if he can't fix it he can probably make it! He worked for several local farmers honing his skills, deciding in 2005 to start his own business with his partner, Karen.

Karen Moore is Cornish through and through, attending her local Primary school at Whitstone, and then Budehaven Community College. She is HGV, Sage and IT qualified, so she can do your accounts on a laptop whilst driving a 40ft artic!

Karen has a keen interest in all things equestrian, and spends what little spare time she has around horses. Like John, Karen has graft in her sole, from taking the Moores' work gangs to and from their jobs (sometimes picking up the foraging crew's in the early hours of the morning - when things are really busy and rain is forecast) helping out in the Moores' office, working for Stayput Fencing and caring for her horses - the best way to see Karen is to take a picture.

John and Karen started the business in 2005 and it has gone from strength to strength ever since - you won't have to be "on guard" if you hire StayPut Fencing!
